Fresh.ink Writing Contest

Well what do you know? I had forgotten all about fresh.ink in the last few months. The site is focused on matching works of fiction with beta readers to provide the authors with feedback. To celebrate their invigoration, the site held a contest with authors submitting their work for evaluation. I’ve mentioned entering contests and competitions before, and this seemed like a reasonable thing to do. Well, I didn’t win, but I was named one of the top five novels in the contest!

Finalists
A special mention to our finalists who finished in the top 5!

Novel
Dreaming in Subtitles | Winter Krane
Diaspora | F. J. Talley
Men in Skirts: A Love Story | Annie Sheppard
Silent Was Our Song | JS Glynn

As I said, I had forgotten all about it, and apparently, 10 beta readers clicked on Diaspora and rated it, high enough to make the top 5! My hope is that this may give me more bragging rights so I can secure an agent and publishing contract for this first Mitchell Street novel.

My thanks to fresh.ink for sponsoring this contest and helping me find new readers!
