Author Fair a Rousing Success!

What a wonderful day at the Lexington Park Library! As you can see, I had my books, a couple of signs and a map of Port Angel ready.

The Author Fair was a great success for everyone there. I learned a lot by listening to my fellow authors, all of whom were more experienced than I. Frank Weber talked about writing what you know, Mary Behre taught us about tag lines and log lines, and many of us participated in the plot workshop led by Dana Staves. The day was truly worth it, and for a new writer like me, quite humbling.
During the day, I learned a great deal about loglines and taglines and how some of my fellow authors earned their first contracts. Many did so through contests, so I’ve decided to enter some, both with my novels and with my short stories. Who knows? Something might just come up!
