On April 21st, join me and nine other authors at the second annual Author Fair at the Lexington Park Library. Last year’s event features eleven authors from a variety of genres: Young Adult, Western, Thriller, Non-Fiction and Romance, to name a few. This year’s authors represent a similar wide range. Here’s a link to the St. Mary’s County Library website that tells you everything you’ll want to know.
Eight authors will present and discuss their work from 10:00 – 12:30, and that will be followed by a workshop by Dana Staves.
The workshop is entitled “Growing a Plot by Saying Yes.” Staves will help participants expand their stories by using techniques from improvisational theater. And it’s a real workshop: people are asked to bring paper and pencils to try out a number of writing exercises. (I hope bringing my tablet is okay, since my handwriting is atrocious.)

In the next few weeks, I’ll tell you more about the authors appearing at this year’s Author Fair. For more information check out the Author Fair link: https://www.stmalib.org/events/adult-events/author-fair-2018/
See you on April 21st!
