Thanks for visiting my website! This has been a long journey from the first novel I wrote in 1978 to the first to be published, Twin Worlds. In the Spring of 2015, I interviewed a student to join the scholars program I direct at the public honors college of Maryland. She mentioned that she had written three novels over the last three years during NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month. Three novels before the age of 18! Clearly, I was a serious underachiever. It was during that interview that I decided to write Twin Worlds.
Actually, Twin Worlds was supposed to be one novel, but somewhere around the 40,000 word mark, I realized that there was no way both parts of the story could fit into one cover. But don’t fret — the second installment in the Flight of the Raven series has already been outlined. To say nothing of our fall book — Take Hart.
But that’s a story for later!
